JUDGING PROTOCOLS

Each Figure, Men’s Physique and Bikini class will be brought out in a group and lined up in a semi-circle on stage. (Marked) The Head Judge will determine whether you will be brought out in groups for initial comparisons in your numerical order or if you will perform your individual poses and then go straight into comparisons. Individual Poses/Model Turns: When directed, you will leave position A and move to position B and strike two poses only. (Front and back for Bikini and Men’s Physique) Please do not do transition poses in between your two poses. When you strike your second pose on B that will be the cue for the next competitor to leave, so cross the stage and move to position C right after you strike the second pose. (Marked) Competitors will rotate one position each time someone is announced to make room for the competitors behind you, until you return to your original starting position on the semi-circle. After the individual poses, the Head Judge will then call competitors out in groups and run them through their quarter turns for Fitness and Figure or half turns for Bikini and Men’s Physique. After everyone has gone through their mandatory poses, competitors will be brought out in groups again for comparisons by the Head Judge, until the class is completed and you are released.

Bodybuilders and Women’s Physique & Men’s Classic Physique – Will be brought out as a group for mandatories and a 15 second pose-down at the end of the comparisons.

Mixed Pairs – Will pose to their music and then will be compared.

EVENING SHOW INTRODUCTIONS

Each Figure, Men’s Physique, Wellness and Bikini Class will be brought out as groups and form a semi-circle. The emcee will announce the competitors one at a time and that will be their cue to move. (Same format as the judging)

Bodybuilding/Women’s Physique/Men’s Classic Physique – Everyone will perform their individual 60 second routines to their submitted music at the evening show. NPC rules state that Bodybuilding, Physique and Classic Men’s Physique competitors must perform their routines at either the judging or finals of a competition.

Fitness competitors – Will be introduced individually prior to performing their Fitness Routines at the evening show.

Mixed Pairs – Will perform their routines to music, immediately after being introduced.
